That is why JCPS health department has been working tirelessly to train district employees and continue to get more staff CPR certified in the coming year. Since Feb 2023, 350 staff members have been trained by certified American Heart Association CPR Instructors!

JCPS receives Stormwater Assistance Grant We are very excited to announce that The Jersey City Public Schools District is a recipient of Governor Murphy’s Stormwater Assistance Grants. JCPS will develop a plan to survey and retrofit up to 39 schools with green infrastructure and construct rain gardens at two of them.
